Pawtherapy K9 Aquatic & Massage Centre is an indoor facility, that aims to provide

therapeutic and recreational services to dogs of all ages, as well as, to those with different

mobility and health considerations. Our goal is to improve and enhance the overall well

being of each and every canine that partakes in our services, with a collaborative approach

to their veterinary care.

A Note to Veterinarians

Therapeutic services including but not limited to; Hydrotherapy, Laser Therapy (Companion Animal

Class IV Laser), Massage Therapy, Dry Land Physical Therapy, Electrotherapy (TENS & NMES), PEMF

Therapy & Kinesiology Taping are effective forms of therapy to aid in the rehabilitation of dogs,

affected by acute and chronic conditions and/or injuries. It is important to note – that although one

specific form of therapy can make a significant difference, a multi-modal approach, typically provides

a much greater outcome.  These non-invasive, therapeutic modalities are never in place of veterinary

care, prescribed medications, and/or supplements but instead used as complimentary/supportive aids,

to ensure the best care possible for our canine patients. As such, these forms of therapies/additional

modalities are only implemented once an assessment and referral has been completed by a

veterinarian. To improve the physical and mental well being of our client’s dogs, all of our therapy

programs are customized to the specific needs of each individual dog, and are formulated based on the

recovery plan outlined by their veterinarian.

Veterinary Assessment & Referral Form

Upon completion, please submit/email the referral, medical

records, as well as any diagnostic images pertaining to this
